Data Analyst/Infrastructure Engineer at GameDev Start-up (Full-time/Remote)

One of a kind in the Cyprus/EU gaming industry, founded by former Melsoft, Wargaming veterans company, is looking for a talented Data Analyst/Infrastructure Engineer who shares our passion for creating outstanding games.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Develop a vision for the creation of analytics tools and infrastructure
  • Build a system of dashboards and project metrics necessary for product operation
  • Develop a marketing analytics strategy
  • Develop a model to predict LTV and calculate KPI’s for user acquisition
  • Conduct A/B tests (from generation of an idea to evaluating the test result)
  • Create hypotheses, develop research methodology, formulate analytical tasks
  • Propose new ideas for project revenue growth based on data
  • Research the current balance of the game, events and suggest ways to increase revenue by optimizing them
  • Conduct analysis and prepare reports and recommendations on game changes
  • Develop player segmentation to adapt gameplay to user experience
  • Set tasks for collecting and sending user data to the database
  • Perform quality control of collected data

  • 3 years or more of experience in product analytics — experience in-game data analytics is a plus
  • Excellent knowledge of and experience with SQL and Python (pandas, numpy, scipy, scikit-learn, etc)
  • College-degree in probability theory and applied statistics
  • Experience working with BI
  • Proactive attitude and the ability to take responsibility for results
  • A constructive mindset, open to both receiving and providing objective feedback
  • A strong collaborative spirit to work in a team

Preferred Skills:
  • Looker and ML or Tableau experience is great to have
  • Airflow, GCP, Big Query, Google Storage, PubSub, Composer, Data Studio, Docker, k8s expertise is nice to have

Eligible forms of engagement:
  • Full-time or part-time employment in Cyprus (company will arrange the employment permit, if needed)
  • EU-based B2B-contractor or individual outsourcing contract
