Senior UI/UX Designer at GameDev Start-up (Full-time/Remote)

One of a kind in the Cyprus/EU gaming industry, founded by former Melsoft, Wargaming veterans company, is looking for a talented Senior UI/UX Designer who shares our passion for creating outstanding games.

The ideal candidate will have an ability for simplifying complex ideas and translating them into user-friendly interfaces that immerse players in our projects.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Develop and design concepts, workflows, layouts, mock-ups, and prototypes.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure a refined and consistent UI, optimizing the user experience.
  • Create high-quality game interfaces that align with and enhance the unique aspects of our games.
  • Engage with the team during the design phase, soliciting feedback and making iterative improvements.

Requirements:
  • 3 years minimum of professional experience in UI/UX design, including experience with mobile titles.
  • Ability to design UI for multiple platforms.
  • Proficiency in creating UX wireframes and flows using tools such as Figma or XD.
  • Advanced skills in using the Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop and Illustrator, for visual design tasks.
  • Experience with front-end implementation in Unity.
  • Great communication skills, particularly in explaining UI/UX processes.
  • A constructive mindset, open to both receiving and providing objective feedback.
  • A strong collaborative spirit with a willingness to assist team members.

Preferred Skills:
  • Expertise in After Effects, Adobe Animate, Unity Animations, or comparable motion graphics tools.
  • Experience in 3D design.
  • A basic knowledge of programming and scripting, to support strong collaboration with the development team.

Eligible forms of engagement:
  • Full-time or part-time employment in Cyprus (company will arrange the employment permit, if needed).
  • EU-based B2B-contractor or individual outsourcing contract.
